Do I need a Prime membership to be eligible for this offer?
Yes. This offer is only available for Amazon Prime members who have signed up for Prime Gaming. If you are not a member, click the 'Amazon Prime - 30 day free trial' from the Amazon home page to sign up for a free trial. But please note: Once the trial expires, you will no longer be able to claim in-game loot through Prime Gaming.
What is included in this offer?
Starting from the 19th April, there are 12 different drops of in-game loot to be claimed through Prime Gaming for Sea of Thieves. These drops contain different combinations of in-game cosmetics, emotes and currency.
A new drop will be made available every two weeks, so keep checking back at the Prime Gaming website for updates!
How do i redeem this offer?
- Using your Amazon Prime account, proceed to https://gaming.amazon.com/ and sign up for Prime Gaming.
- Once you have joined Prime Gaming, proceed to https://gaming.amazon.com/loot/seaofthieves.
- Find the latest offer from Sea of Thieves, and then click 'Link game account'.
- When prompted to 'Enter the Next level: Account Linking', click 'Link game account'.
- Once clicked, you will be forwarded to the Sea of Thieves website. Please ensure that you then sign into the correct Sea of Thieves account before proceeding.
- After signing into the correct Sea of Thieves account and forwarded to the 'Link your Amazon Prime Account' screen, click 'Link account'.
- Sign into your Amazon Prime account when prompted and select 'Allow' to confirm account linking.
- Finally, once returned to the 'Link your Amazon Prime Account' screen click 'Next' and complete the account linking process.
- Your Sea of Thieves and Amazon Prime accounts should now be correctly linked. So once you enter gameplay, your claimed drop will now be in your inventory. Please also remember to keep checking back to https://gaming.amazon.com/loot/seaofthieves for the latest offers once they are available.
Note: Please allow 72 hours for your content to arrive on your account.
Where can I find my in-game loot once claimed?
Once you have correctly linked your accounts and claimed your drop, simply log in to Sea of Thieves. When in-game, any loot will be available from their usual locations with all Gold and Doubloons being added to your inventory and cosmetics being equipped from the appropriate chest.
Is my account linked correctly?
To confirm whether you have linked the correct accounts, proceed to your Sea of Thieves account page using the Sea of Thieves account which you use to play the game. From there, the link to your Amazon Prime account will be listed in the 'Your Social Accounts' section.
I accidentally linked the wrong Sea of Thieves account to my Amazon account. What do I do?
If you have linked the wrong Sea of Thieves account to your Amazon account, please proceed to your Sea of Thieves account page using that incorrect Sea of Thieves account and unlink your Amazon account from the 'Your Social Accounts' section. Once complete, you can re-link the correct accounts using the method listed above in the 'How do i redeem this offer?' section.
Please note: If you have already claimed the offer, once you re-link accounts you will be unable to claim the recent offer again. Contact Prime Gaming customer support who will be able to clear this recent claim for you so that it can be claimed again.
I claimed the offer but I do not see my content in-game. What do I do?
Using the Sea of Thieves account which you use to play the game, proceed to your Sea of Thieves account page and ensure that your Amazon Prime account is listed as linked. If this account is not linked, check your other available Sea of Thieves / Microsoft accounts to see if they were incorrectly linked. When the incorrect account is found, please unlink this account from your Amazon Prime account and link again using the correct Sea of Thieves account.
Please note: As you have already claimed the offer, once you re-link accounts you will be unable to claim the recent offer again. Contact Prime Gaming customer support who will be able to clear this recent claim for you so that it can be claimed again.
Can I link different Amazon Prime accounts to my Sea of Thieves account and claim each offer multiple times?
No. Each Amazon Prime account can only claim one offer, and only one offer can be applied to a Sea of Thieves account.
I received an error that my Amazon account has already claimed this content. What do I do?
Please check that the same Sea of Thieves account is linked to the Amazon account that was originally used to claim the content.
Can I change which account my Sea of Thieves content goes to?
Whilst you can change the Sea of Thieves account which your content goes to, please note that any already claimed drops will not be applied to that new account. Follow the process mentioned above for unlinking your Sea of Thieves and Amazon Prime accounts before linking to a different Sea of Thieves account.
What happens to my content if I no longer have a Prime membership or my free trial expires?
Once you have claimed your content, all content that has been applied to your account is yours to keep.
Do I continue to receive content if my free trial or membership expires? What if I have an issue that isn't addressed above?
As you have to be an Amazon Prime member to receive the content, unfortunately you will not receive any further content until becoming an Amazon Prime member again.
Will my content by available in all game regions that I play in?
This content is available for all regions in which Sea of Thieves is supported in except for Russia and China.
Please also note: Due to the requirement for accepting Terms and Conditions when accessing the Sea of Thieves website, Child accounts will also be unable to claim Prime Gaming rewards.
