A couple of Sea of Thieves’ visual effects can be disabled in the settings menus. We hope we can grow this list over time.
Screen shake
To disable the screen shake that can occur when caught in an earthquake, you’re hit by and explosion, or any number of situations:
- Navigate to Settings – Graphics Settings
- Move down to the section titled Visibility
- Set Disable Screen Shake
Ghostly blur
To disable the blur that occurs on ghost ship treasure:
- Navigate to Settings – Graphics Settings
- Move down to the section titled Visibility
- Set Disable Blur
