When wielding and using Player Items in Sea of Thieves, players can now switch between ‘Hold’ or ‘Toggle’ when using items. This setting allows players to Aim a Weapon, Raise a Lantern or Look at their Watch without needing to hold the button.
- Navigate to Settings - Gameplay
- Move down to the section titled Input
- Set Reduce Hold to Use Item to On
