Our teams are aware of an issue where players on Xbox Consoles are experiencing a persistent Lavender Beard Error
Following our initial investigation, this issue is related to Xbox Live accounts which are accessing Sea of Thieves via Game Share.
While we understand that the following workaround is not ideal, affected players must either:
- Personally have a Game Pass subscription (which means your account will own the game during this time), or
- Own the game outright on your own profile, along with a Game Pass Core subscription for online play
