How to block / mute a player

This page contains information on how to block or mute a player in-game both on PC and on Xbox. Below contains a link on how to report a player should you wish to do this also.

How to report a player

How to block/mute a player on PC:

Someone in your Crew:

1. Press Escape whilst in-game to bring up the Game Settings.
2. Select My Crew
3. Select View Gamer Card
4. Select Block or Mute in chat

Outside of the game or your crew:

1. Press the Windows Key
2. Type in Xbox and open up the Xbox app
3. Select Recent Players from the dropdown list found on the friend list tab

    4.Select the player you wish to report

    5.Select More

    6.Select Block or Mute in chat

How to report a player on Xbox:

Someone in your Crew:

1. Press Back / View whilst in-game to bring up the Game Settings. 
2. Select My Crew
3. Select View Gamer Card
4. Select Block or Mute in chat

Outside of the game or your crew:

1. Press the Guide / Nexus button
2. Scroll left once to get to the People tab
3. Select Recent Players
4. Select the Player you wish to report
5. Select Block or Mute in chat

How to Mute a player in-game

1. Press Back / View whilst in-game to bring up the Game Settings. 
2. Select My Crew
3. Select the player you wish to mute
4. Select the mute option you preference
