In-game reporting and requests for Further Information

Reporting a player in-game now supports a range of additional reasons that can be used when reporting other players, including Hate Speech and Profanity. As with all reports, these are sent directly to the Sea of Thieves Support team for investigation and then follow-up action.

After an in-game Report is filed and acknowledged by the Sea of Thieves Support team, you will now receive an in-game update to your report when logging into Sea of Thieves. This update will contain a reference number, and will also confirm that action has been taken or that if further information is required.

If action has been taken

You do not need to do anything further.

If further information is required

  1. Please prepare any evidence gathered regarding your initial report.
  2. Create a new Support Request via our website.
  3. Please quote the reference number provided previously via your in-game report.
  4. Upload any supporting evidence. Please see this article for further information regarding good supporting evidence.

The Sea of Thieves Support team will then review this evidence and get back to you via email when the investigation is complete.
