Sometimes, when you launch a game on a laptop, it will use the on-board GPU rather than the dedicated GPU. The following steps will ensure you are using the correct GPU for the game.
1. In Settings, navigate to System - Display - Graphics
2. Search for "Sea Of Thieves" in the search bar
3. Select "Options" and choose "High Performance"
4. Select "Save"
The game will now use your dedicated GPU.
